It’s cold and flu season and I wanted to share some tips to support your immune system to help your body fight and colds or infections you may get this season.

  • Movement – The lymphatic system is the primary battleground for immune responses in your body and yoga is a great way to keep the lymph fluid moving.  Inversions are an excellent way to move stagnant lymph around your body, so try out legs up the wall and shoulder stand to get your lymph moving.
  • Food – Remove food stressors like refined sugar and refined carbohydrates that can cause your blood sugar to become imbalanced which can depress your immune system.
  • Hydration – Staying hydrated is important for supporting good lymphatic flow

Below are some more items you can add to help support your immune system:

  1. Elderberry Syrup
