COMPASSION THAT COMPELS
What if we purposed every day to show God’s love and compassion? In a small world, we chose to love big? I have always had a tender regard for the walking wounded. Those who were without hope and felt abandoned by God. Compassion That Compels began as I walked alongside my two sisters-in-law and sister as they bravely battled cancer. On a surgery day, my sister in law, Sonja, pressed a letter into my hand with, “Open during Surgery.” Her words were written in red and full of forgiveness, ‘Show someone your heart and make their wait a little a more peaceful.’ They forever changed my life.
That letter sparked a movement of compassion and that movement is Compassion That Compels. Today, thousands of women fighting cancer throughout the world have been given the power found in HOPE and community. They are reminded how very brave and BEAUTIFUL they are. With every woman who has connected through Compassion, they’ve received a piece of my heart. Brave sisters and BEAUTIFUL overcomers you are never alone in this fight!
My life of love is filled to overflowing for my husband Royal. My two world-changer, fabulous daughters Grace and Annelise, join me on grand adventures. They color my life with rich hues of joy and love. Collecting people, writing, traveling, and exercise are among my pursuits. Showing God’s love and compassion is my purpose.
